Steppin Out Stars Website
Built a Laravel parent area and school merchandise shop. The client reports fivefold sales of items such as Steppin Out hoodies and T-shirts.
// Problem
For a performing arts school, the website can serve existing families as well as people discovering the school for the first time. Steppin Out Stars needed a parent area and a way for families to buy its school merchandise online.
The project brought that practical requirement together with website branding developed from the school’s existing logo. The focus was a useful service for the school community, rather than a brochure alone.
// Solution
I delivered the Laravel architecture, including the parent area and merchandise shop, and developed the website’s visual identity from the supplied logo. The shop gave families an online route to buy Steppin Out items such as hoodies and T-shirts.
The parent area and shop were part of a custom application built around the school’s requirements. This combined customer-facing design with functionality intended for people already involved with the school.
This case study covers the school’s previous Laravel website, which has since been replaced. My delivery included the architecture, website branding, parent area and shop.
