Classic Decorating: A Website Built Around Project Proof

For a commercial decorating company, the work itself is the strongest evidence of capability. Prospective clients need to understand the kinds of buildings, sectors and project scales the team can handle before starting a conversation about their own requirements.

Classic Decorating needed a website that gave its completed work a proper platform. The existing company logo was the starting point for the website’s visual identity; the rest of the presentation needed to make the company and its experience easy to explore.

I delivered the complete Laravel architecture and developed the website branding from the company’s existing logo. The site brings service information and project examples together, with sector-based browsing that helps visitors find work relevant to their own brief.

Completed projects sit alongside company information, recently secured work and contact routes. That creates a useful reference for a prospective client assessing the business, as well as a place for the team to showcase the range of work it undertakes.

The project combined visual design and application development under one responsibility, so the presentation and the underlying website were planned together.

Classic Decorating now uses the site to showcase its work. Malcolm reports that the projects the company takes on have grown in scale since the website launched.
